There are a number of mixtapes that’ll drop on Halloween this year, and I’ll keep updating this post to make sure everyone is ready come October 31st!
Lil Wayne – No Ceilings

It’ll be interesting to hear where Wayne goes with this mixtape. He’s already stated that he will go in on various hot songs that came out throughout the year. Similar to Da Drought 3!
Wiz Khalifa – B.A.R.

Wiz Khalifa is going to drop his last mixtape before the upcoming album, Deal or No Deal. If “Thrill” is any indication of how this mixtape will sound, I can’t wait to hear it!
Travis Porter & Waka Flocka Flame – Streets R Us

This mixtape will be one to watch, as Travis Porter and Waka have the two hottest songs in Atlanta right now with “Turnt Up” and “Let’s Do It.”
Soulja Boy – Cortez, DatPiff, and Paranormal Activity.

Soulja Boy is going to pull a Gucci Mane and release three mixtapes on one day. I hope he puts out three mixtapes that stick to a theme, like Gucci’s The Cold War Series!
Gucci Mane & Shawty Lo – Fright Night

Gucci Mane is teaming up with Shawty Lo to release Fright Night. This should be a trap classic.

Travis Porter, made up of Quez, Strap, and Ali, announced their record deal with Jive on November 29th. Prior to their major deal, the group had made themselves the hottest independent rap group in the country with over forty five million Youtube views, multiple singles reaching the Billboard charts, concerts overseas, and music videos in rotation on MTV Jams.
It'll be interesting to see what the boys do while under the major label umbrella, as they've already accomplished more than a number of artists who are signed!
Waka Flocka Flame
Juaquin Malphurs
Label: Warner Bros./Asylum
Hometown: Riverdale, GA
Waka Flocka Flame was born in Jamaica, Queens, to Debra Antney, Gucci Mane and Nicki Minaj’s ex-manager, but relocated to Riverdale, Georgia when he was 9 years old. Growing up, the rapper was given the nickname “Waka” by his cousin who thought that he sounded like Fozzie Bear from The Muppet Babies TV show. Years later, Waka’s mentor and CEO, Gucci Mane, evolved the nickname into Waka Flocka Flame.
