Gucci Mane – “Have It All” (Featuring Pharrell)

Gucci Mane teamed up with Pharrell for “Have It All,” a smooth love song that may turn into more than just another mixtape track. After all, “Wasted” started off as a mixtape track and became Gucci’s best charting single to date!

Pharrell sings the hook while Gucci lays down some of the funniest pick up lines in hip hop:

“It’s embarrassing girl, you so fine that it is no comparison,
I come home every night and take you out to eat on Saturdays,
Your ex-boyfriend was not a baller, he was gettin by barely,
Hilarious, apparently lil homie likes a parody,
I’ll put amazing carrots on you, you should see the clarity
We’re co-parenting a daughter, in the future she’ll inherit it,
I can not stop staring at ya, I mean that since-air-ily,
I sit by you in church, and will donate me is the charity.”

I would love to watch Gucci Mane on some reality TV dating show, it would be too hilarious!

Lil Wayne – “Drop The World”  (Featuring Eminem)

Earlier this week, “Drop The World” was leaked and created a huge amount of buzz around the upcoming Rebirth album, which has been pushed back to February.  I would have included a Youtube.com video of the track in this article, but Universal Music Group has blocked them all.

That being said, the brief time that “Drop The World” spent online was just enough to raise expectations surrounding the upcoming rock infused hip hop album.

“Drop The World” has Lil Wayne and Eminem spiting lines about dealing with the pressures that come with fame and success.  Lil Wayne takes the first verse with:

“I’ve seen nights full of pain,
Days of the same,
You keep the sunshine,
Save me the rain,
I search but never find,
Hurt but never cry,
I work and forever try,
But I’m cursed so never mind…
The top gets higher the more that I climb,
The spot gets smaller and I get bigger,
Tryin to get in, where I fit in,
No room for a nigga, but soon for a nigga, it be on mutherfucker,
Cause all this bullshit just made me strong, mutherfucker.”

Few people give Lil Wayne the credit he deserves for being extremely creative and continuously trying to push the envelope.  Even though Eminem obviously stole the show on this one, Lil Wayne put forth quality lines and achieved his longtime dream of being on a track with Slim Shady.

Here’s an excerpt from Eminem’s verse:

“It hurts, but I’ll never show,
This pain, you’ll never know,
If only you could see, just how lonely and how cold,
and frostbit I’ve become,
My back’s against the wall,
When push come to shove, i just stand up and scream fuck em all,
Man it feels like these walls are closing in,
This roof is caving in,
Uhp its time to raise it then,
Your days are numbered like pages in,
My book of rhymes got em cook’em boy,
This crooked mind of mine got em all shook and scared to look in my eyes,
I stole that fuckin clock, I took the time and I,
Came up from behind, and pretty much snuck up and butt fucked this game up,
Better be careful when you bring my name up fuck this fame that aint what,
I came to claim, but the game aint gonna be the same on the day that I leave it,
But I swear one way or another I’mma make these fuckin haters believe it.”

It’s lines like those that make a feature from Eminem so coveted!

In addition to the sick verses, Lil Wayne’s hook will surely get stuck in your head as it has major crossover appeal:

“So I pick the world up and I’mma drop it on your fuckin head, yeah,
Bitch I’mma pick the world up and I’mma drop it on your fuckin head, yeah,
And I can die now, Rebirth mutherfucker,
Hop up in my spaceship and leave earth motherfucker,
I’m gone, mutherfucker, I’m gone.”

If Weezy’s album has more tracks like “Drop The World” hidden on it, he’ll definitely do major first week numbers.
