Download: The 16th Of June: A Tupac Shakur Celebration
Alongside Mick Boogie, Terry Urban has made a name for himself as a tastemaker within the hip hop game.
He’s been involved in a number of influential mixtape projects including Viva La Hova and a recent J Dilla tribute. He’s also helped bring attention to numerous emerging artists through collaboration projects.
Today Terry Urban released The 16th Of June: A Tupac Shakur Celebration to honor the hip hop legend’s birthday, as well as raise awareness around tonight’s memorial concert in Atlanta. Although he died at 25, Tupac Amaru Shakur would have turned 39 years old today.
The concert is sure to sell out, as it’s hosted by Mike Epps and features performances from Bun B, Rick Ross, Too Short, Pill, and Roscoe Dash. If you’re in Atlanta, I need to see footage of Rick Ross setting the crowd on fire with “BMF” and “MC Hammer.” #BAWSE!
