Yelawolf – “Wanna Party” (Featuring Gucci Mane)
Download – “Wanna Party”
“Yelawolf and Gucci Mane, keepin your bitch entertained.” - Yela’s last line on this track sums it up well. The dope boys should enjoy the song too though, especially after hearing Yelawolf’s opening verse:
“Trunk Muzik got these boppers poppin, note the richter scale,
D-boys on the corner, droppin quarters like a wishing well,
Ziplock in the freezer like your momma’s box of sip ‘n dales,
Syppin with your southern bell,
Betcha she won’t kiss and tell,
Pick ‘em black, I’m mister pale,
Pack the pack, and drink the ale,
Gettin drunk, I’m drunk as hell,
Don’t think I can leave my chair,
Got a toothbrush, with a dirty mouth,
For the fuckin’ rappers who wanna see me fail,
Blind side ‘em, rhyme side ‘em,
Bitch I leave you reading brail,
You can’t lady Gaga me, the rival with the poker face,
I come from the bottom, you ain’t gotta put your dope away,
Got so many hook ups I could pull a motherfuckin’ train,
Kitchen full of bottles baby, Tell me what you want againnn.”
That line about dope boys dropping quarters like a wishing well is awesome!
Trunk Muzik 0-60 is set to hit stores this September. The project will have new material as well as five fan favorites from the Trunk Muzik mixtape.
Here’s Yelawolf going in over Gucci Mane’s “Lemonade.”

Yelawolf's Trunk Muzik mixtape, hosted by DJ Burn One, catapulted the Alabama emcee into the emerging artist spotlight in early 2010. This project's buzz coupled with numerous co-signs (including Eminem) helped to land Yela a record deal at Interscope.
Described by Mike Bigga as a mix between Outkast and Lynyrd Skynyrd, Yelawolf’s style is thoroughly southern. The southern drawl adds to Yela's unique sound which often meshes hip hop with classic rock. Other unique aspects of Yelawolf's persona are his love of skateboarding and appreciation for classic rock, which help him stand out amidst a sea of emerging hip hop artists.
