Hot Songs: Gucci Mane – “It’s Gucci Time!” & Bo Deal – “Body Bag” (Feat. Wooh Da Kid & Waka Flocka Flame)

Gucci Mane – “It’s Gucci Time!” (Featuring Swizz Beatz)

Download – “It’s Gucci Time!”

This final version of Gucci Mane’s next big single sounds so much better than the early leak.  There’s a lot of energy on this track, as Swizzy gave it his signature club anthem feel, complete with some talking over the beat towards the end.

As of now, it looks like “Gucci Time” will hit watches this fall, as Gucci Mane La Flare’s album, The Appeal: Georgia’s Most Wanted, is set to drop on September 28th.

Bo Deal – “Body Bag” (Featuring Wooh Da Kid & Waka Flocka Flame)

Bo Deal’s “Body Bag” starts off with one of the best verses I’ve ever heard Wooh Da Kid spit, and also includes a guest spot from one of hip hop’s hottest emerging stars, Waka Flocka Flame.  Those guest verses, coupled with the erie beat, are enough to put this song in rotation, but Bo Deal does a great job holding his own against some of 1017 Brick Squad’s finest.

In case you wanted to hear more from Bo Deal, check out his other single, “Outta Them Clothes.”

Waka Flocka Flame was born in Jamaica, Queens, to Debra Antney, Gucci Mane and Nicki Minaj’s ex-manager, but relocated to Riverdale, Georgia when he was 9 years old. Growing up, the rapper was given the nickname “Waka” by his cousin who thought that he sounded like Fozzie Bear from The Muppet Babies TV show. Years later, Waka’s mentor and CEO, Gucci Mane, evolved the nickname into Waka Flocka Flame.
