Interview: Tity Boi (2/16/11)

Last year, Tity Boi, aka 2 Chainz, set the streets on fire with the release of his sixth solo mixtape, Trap-A-Velli 2: The Residue.  If you still haven’t heard the impressive project, check out our official review.

The Atlanta emcee is currently looking to keep the momentum going with his Codeine Cowboy mixtape and DVD that’s set to be released on February 22nd.  The mixtape, which will feature both best of and new tracks, will be hosted by DJ Teknikz and DJ Frank White.

HipHopAtLunch met up with Tity Boi to speak about his impressive Trap-A-Velli 2 project, working with Drumma Boy and Lex Luger, and what we can expect to hear on both the upcoming Codeine Cowboy mixtape, and Classic Yams project.

As mentioned in our interview, “Lo Boots” originally appeared on Tity Boi’s Me Against The World 2 (Codeine Withdrawal) project with Black Bill Gates.  Since the song got a lot of love, Tit decided to throw Vado on the re-up’d version.
