Interview: Zed Zilla speaks on upcoming Rents Due project and working with Yo Gotti

Between touring with Starlito and laying down guest verses on Yo Gotti’s Cocaine Muzik mixtape series, South Memphis’ land lord, Zed Zilla, has been busy perfecting his upcoming Rents Due project with DJ Drama.

HipHopAtLunch met up with Zed Zilla while the emerging artist was recording in Times Square to speak about selling out shows on the road, the motivation behind his upcoming Rents Due project, and what it’s like to work with Yo Gotti and Gabriel Hart.

Yo Gotti’s I Told U So and Young Jeezy’s Trap Or Die are hard mixtapes to follow, but hopefully Zed Zilla comes through with another classic Gangsta Grillz debut. The tape is already shaping up nicely with expected features from Yo Gotti, Starlito, Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka, Tity Boi, and more!
