Raz Fresco is getting ready to drop his MCMXCV mixtape on June 17th, the follow up to the emerging emcee’s impressive Laced Up project with DJ Holiday.

If you still haven’t heard Raz’s Laced Up mixtape, I suggest you check out “Life We Live” and “Goin For Gold.”  Both of those standout tracks were self-produced by the sixteen year old producer and emcee.  Also, hear Raz speak on Laced Up in our feature interview.

The new project’s title, MCMXCV, represents the year that Raz was born in Roman Numerals.  The Toronto emcee has already released two tracks off of the upcoming tape in the form of clean videos directed by Prime Toronto.

I’ve included both videos below, as well as a recent freestyle.

Raz Fresco – “Phony Ones”

That family guy sample at the beginning of “Phony Ones” is hilarious!  Below is a quick excerpt from this self-produced cut.
