There was so much anticipation around Future’s Streetz Calling project, that the mixtape actually leaked early.  Having said that, Future is now gearing up to release his next tape, Streetz Calling Unleaked.  As mentioned in the above interview, this project will feature a few new tracks and the interludes and drops that were supposed to be on the original mixtape.

A week after releasing his impressive Jack of All Trades mixtape, G.O.O.D. Music’s Cyhi The Prynce came to NYC and performed at The Fader’s Vitaminwater Uncapped showcase.

Unlike his previous two releases, this project saw the Atlanta emcee go jacking for beats.  Cyhi put his lyrics to classic tracks from artists such as Young Bloodz, T.I., Outkast, and many more.

HipHopAtLunch met up with Cyhi The Prynce to speak on his Jack of All Trades mixtape, the motivation behind the personal “Woopty Doo” track, his plans of releasing a new song on his birthday, and more.

Below, I’ve included a stream of the Jack of All Trades mixtape, as well as the personal “Woopty Doo” track.  The “Notable Quotables” mentioned in our interview can be heard at the 59 second point of “Assasin” and the 51 second point of “Artist.”

Kanye West and No I.D provided this track’s smooth production, as fellow G.O.O.D. Music member Big Sean brought some extra word play into the mix.  It was crazy to hear about Cyhi’s late sister’s involvement in the song as well.

Another interesting aspect of “Woopty Doo” is the hook that is rapped first by Cyhi and then Big Sean.  The two artists don’t use the exact same lyrics, but both perform the hook with the same feeling and message in mind.  Here’s an excerpt from the song’s hook:

“Every 365 bro, you get a little wiser,
and realize all that stupid shit you bought was lame,
Cause it don’t mean shit,
When you’re out there on your own,
Cause it don’t mean shit,
And them Feds run in your home,
Cause it don’t mean shit,
When you can’t take care of your kids,
Cause it don’t mean shit,
I tell them woopty doo.”

Only four months after releasing his debut mixtape, December 17th, Trouble found himself performing at SOBs, New York’s famed venue.
