The Clipse - Popular Demand
The Clipse have released a handful of videos for their upcoming album, Til the Casket Drops, but none have been more controversial than "Popular Demand." The video, directed by Rik Cordero, starts off outside the infamous Obama Fried Chicken restaurant in Brooklyn, and also features Cam'ron spitting his whole verse inside a Popeyes.
Most of the video's controversy comes from MTV blocking out the "Obama Fried Chicken" sign. Here's MTV's version.
I like how the Popeyes employees went about their business as if Killa Cam wasn't rapping in front of the register.
I'm ...

The latest leak off The State vs. Radric Davis is "My Own Worst Enemy," produced by Drumma Boy. Gucci gives us a rare glimpse into his serious side while speaking about his Young Jeezy beef and commenting on both Tiny and T.I.

Download "Who Dat."
First it was JT Money who had the hip hop community chanting "Who Dat" back in 1999, then Young Jeezy and Shawty Redd got people through the Recession with their version of "Who Dat," and most recently the New Orleans Saints made the catch phrase their go to chant, resulting in a Superbowl championship.
Now J.Cole brings yet another meaning to the popular term, with the release of his street single, "Who Dat," off of the upcoming Cole World album. The North Carolina emcee spits the impressive lines which we've now come to ...
Gudda Gudda - "I Don't Like The Look (Willy Wonka)" (Featuring Lil Wayne)
Download "I Don't Like The Look."
The Backwudz version of this Willy Wonka-inspired beat was heavily slept on when it dropped back in 2006. I'm happy to see Weezy's camp re-vamp the track with a strong bass line similar to that of Wayne's "A Milli." This is the type of track that can kill on radio, with the buzz surrounding Lil Wayne's recent incarceration and the growing popularity of his Young Money group.
All those who were bumping The Backwudz four years ago ...
LET ME KNOW WHICH TRACK IS BETTER
Fat Joe - Ha Ha (Featuring Young Jeezy) Fat Joe went in over a ridiculous beat provided by Scoop Deville on "Ha Ha." Young Jeezy's verse and part on the hook should not be overlooked, but this single is all about Joey Crack.
Juelz Santana - Home Run (Featuring Lil Wayne)
"Home Run" gives us a look at what I Can't Feel My Face, the collaborative project between Juelz and Wayne, could have been. The track will definitely receive a good amount of play in the clubs.
Here's Lil Wayne's standout hook:
"I got money on money and bitches on bitches, Bring my chopper to the office, let it handle all my business, I got money on my mind, and I'm thinking all day, Keep a bad bitch to fuck me when I've had a long day. Cause my money make money, and my bitches get ...

8Ball & MJG - "Bring It Back" (Featuring Young Dro)
"Bring It Back" is the first single off of 8Ball & MJG's upcoming Ten Toes Down album, which sounds like it's going to feature more of the hard southern sound they're known for. A number of DJs and southern artists such as DJ Grandmaster Flash, Bigga Rankin, Mike Bigga, Tony from The Core DJs, Young Buck, and Jazze Pha, paid their respects to the Memphis legends with cameos in ...
Ludacris - My Chick Bad (Featuring Nicki Minaj)
Shout out to whoever made that Youtube video, because it's holding me over until the official one drops. After seeing the BTS photos of the video shoot, "My Chick Bad Remix" looks like it'll have nice visuals!
Luda keeps his lyrics relevant to the song's title:
"Now your girl might be sick, but my girl sicker, She rides that dick and she handles her liquor, Will knock a bitch out and fight, Coming out swingin like Tiger Woods' wife."That last line has me visualizing Tiger Woods' wife swinging a golf club viciously, ha! The track's ...

Rhymefest - Letter (Featuring John Mayer)
Court Dunn did it again, and this time he has Rhymefest rapping in front of a faded image of the Chicago emcee typing his lyrics. I'm surprised more directors haven't started biting Restless Films' style and extremely successful one-shot videos!
