If you’ve been following Big K.R.I.T.’s movement, then you already know how important this collaboration is to the emerging emcee.  ”Grippin On The Wood” will be featured on Pimp C’s upcoming Still Pimping album.

My first interview with K.R.I.T. took place while the Mississippi emcee was in the studio mixing down his K.R.I.T. Wuz Here project.  Watch below as last year’s K.R.I.T. reacts to the idea of working with Bun B and being compared to Pimp C.

Last night Bun B let loose of the first single off of the late Pimp C’s upcoming album, The Naked Soul Of Sweet James Jones.  Shout out to Boi-1da on the production; the project is set to hit selfs on October 5th.  It’s good to hear Pimp’s southern drawl on some new tracks, R.I.P. Pimp C!

Side Note: They need to get a feature from Big K.R.I.T. on the album.  Now that’d be Trill!
