Wiz Khalifa just dropped a video for “Hello Kitty” off of his Burn After Rolling mixtape.  The camera angles make this video have a personal fell.  Deal or No Deal hits shelves November 24th!

These numbers prove that despite having already dropped two projects earlier this year, fans are still hungry to hear more from Wiz.

Burn After Rolling’s mixtape artwork is a hilarious parody of the movie, Burn After Reading.  To get a good laugh, check out the DVD cover

My two favorite lines from the mixtape are “been considered hipster, cause my shirts fit,” and “my knots don’t fit, but my jeans do.”  Those quotes sum up Wiz’s personality as well as his “fuck you if you don’t like me” attitude.

Wiz Khalifa also talks about his hundreds of thousands of Youtube views and how he’s been working his flip cam lately.  It’s no secret that both Wiz and his Fly Society brother, Curren$y, are extremely interested in social media.

The mixtape starts off with the title track, “B.A.R.”

Wiz stunts on the track while showing off his seemingly endless supply of punchlines:

“Lamborghini dreams, beach house wishes,
Pour bottles of champagne for my beach house bitches,
It ain’t new to me, that money, boy I been bout,
Throwing hundreds on the floor, I tell her keep count, nigga,
They in love with what I say, cause I,
Really lived the life you other niggas speak bout,
Got my camera man, he down to do a movie for me,
Couple niggas round thats down to do the shootin for me.”

I love that line about filming a movie and having his “niggas down to do the shootin,” ha!

As with all of Wiz Khalifa’s mixtapes, Burn After Rolling features an incredible beat selection, as we see him remake a number of popular songs and go in on creative samples. 

One of the best remakes on the mixtape is “The Thrill.”

If you like the track’s hook, check out the original version, “Walking on a Dream,” by the Australian duo, Empire of the Sun.

As we learned in a recent interview with Wiz, the inspiration on “The Thrill” came from a conversation with college in Kansas. speaking to college students in Kansas about his music tastes.  The students were amazed at Wiz’s vast interest in different genres, and told him that it’d be sick to hear a remake of “Walking on a Dream.”

This is definitely a Wiz Khalifa track that indie-rock listeners will enjoy!

A remake that hip hop fans will love is “Won’t Land.”

Every hip hop fan will instantly recognize the Camp Lo sample from Luchini (This Is It).

The track was originally titled “Air Born” when it was released through Wiz’s Twitter account a few weeks ago. “Won’t Land” is a better name for the track however.

The mixtape gets more serious when Wiz talks about heartbreak on “When U Find.”

The sample on that hook is ridiculous, and Wiz’s sad lyrics show the artist in a light we rarely see.

“Don’t leave,
Cause you’re my oxygen, without you I won’t breath,
You’re everything I want, need,
For you I wear my heart on a short sleeve,
I know some things need changin,
That takes time, I need more, please,
You say I aint do everything I coulda done,
Like the shit that I did ain’t good enough,
Your friends said they been woulda left,
Aint do you right, so you head to the left.”

I wonder if that song is directed toward anyone in particular, because it sounded as if it came from Wiz’s heart.

Wiz Khalifa ends the tape on a brighter note with “Great To Be Here.”

We hear yet another dope sample on this fast paced track, which serves as a closing credit to Burn After Rolling as much as a thank you to the fans for all the support.

“I get a whole lotta hate, whole lotta hoes,
Spend a whole lotta cake on them Prada clothes,
When you mention my name, they aint gotta know,
This for thinkin they outta know,
I wanna thank ya!”

Wiz has a lot to be thankful for, as the independent artist has already started to appear on the iTunes hip hop charts, 3 weeks before his upcoming Deal Or No Deal release.
