Jadakiss' third installment of his The Champ Is Here mixtape series plays out like a true Pay-Per-View event, complete with fight commentary and skits put together over stock audio of a cheering crowd. Also, in honor of the boxing theme, DJ Drama, who hosts the tape along side DJ Green Lantern, changed his name to Dram King, ha!
Jadakiss comes out hard on The Champ Is Here 3, with cocky lyrics that show his confidence and willingness to fight. The first skit even has Jada recalling how he's been training for this tape by "running five and a half miles every morning."

Boss of All Bosses 2.5 was rumored to be one of those mixtapes that you'd have to pay for. Luckily for us, it has now been released as a free download with the option to buy.

The mixtape, which suffered numerous delays, finally dropped earlier this month. I was definitely surprised and had already accepted not being able to hear it anytime soon!
It turns out the music was well worth the wait. Fabolous acted out the mixtape artwork and laid to rest a good selection of beats.
Adding to the tape's "last rights-feel" was DJ Drama, who decided to change his knickname from Barak O'Drama to DraMcCain for this project. Regarding the switch, Drama explains how he's "starting to feel like a Republican, giving out the death penalty and killin' you niggas!" (More..)

Last week, Yo Gotti teamed up with fellow Memphis native, Zed Zilla, to release Cocaine Muzik 4, hosted by DJ Drama.
The highly anticipated mixtape dropped at 5PM on January 12th, alongside Cam'ron's Boss of All Bosses 2.
CM4 felt more like an album than your standard mixtape. Part of the project's cohesiveness comes Zed Zilla's style and flow, which worked well with Gotti on tracks such as "In The Club" and "Pull Over."
Most of CM4's tracks contained original production, but we did get two impressive freestyles over hits from the New Boyz and Dorrough with, "Ice Cream Paint Job ...
