Section.80 is Kendrick Lamar's highly anticipated follow up to the Compton emcee's O(verly) D(edicated) project. If you're currently in California, Kendrick is having an album release signing at 2 PM in Compton.
Since dropping the OD project, Kendrick has gotten a lot of media attention. Everything from being placed on the cover of XXL magazine, to working on a collaborative project with J.Cole, receiving a co-sign from Dr. Dre and now being looked upon as a definite feature for the long awaited Detox album.

Kendrick Lamar's buzz has been steadily increasing since the emerging Compton emcee released his self-titled EP at the end of 2009.
Kendrick has since collaborated with some of the game's hottest emcees, dropped the impressive O(verly) D(edicated) project, and graced the cover of XXL Magazine's 2011 Freshman Class issue.
